Recently at the airport a man complained of chest pains and asked for help. He was taken to the hospital where he later passed away. No one thought to use this machine or knew how. So the next time you see one,
cuddle on up to it! Get familiar, you just might save a life!
Oh that is very sad. One may think someone out there is a nurse or a doctor or even a paramedic.
ReplyDeleteBut you offered a good advise there.
Cuddle up to the know how or cuddle no more?
ReplyDeleteThey have signposts to defibrillators all over Monaco. I've often wondered how many people know how to use them!
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting on such an unconventional 'cuddly' post.
ReplyDelete@ ewok ...the machine is there long before the paramedic arrives (which can feel like an eternity)
@ Alice ...thanks for putting the words to my inner thoughts
@ A. ...you'd be surprised
Wow, that is a sad story. I have never seen that machine before available for just anyone to use.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely A for uniqueness on that cuddly theme and certainly a good reminder. I've never seen one of those anywhere, but I don't spend much time in airports any more.
